Cheryl M. Rivas, CMP, is a Senior Manager, Accounts & Marketing Communications at Meeting Sites Resource. She assists and supports MSR customers with site research, hotel evaluations, negotiations and the contract process. Cheryl has been with MSR for four years. Prior to that she had two years experience in corporate meeting and event planning. Before starting her career in the meeting industry, Cheryl earned her Bachelors degree in Communications with an emphasis in Entertainment Studies/Hospitality & Tourism. Cheryl has served on the MPIOC Board of Directors as VP Communications and Director, Monthly Programs. She has also served on several chapter committees and is a chapter “Shining Star” recipient. | ||
